Planting native trees and restoring degraded land with communities across Belgium.
The Native Reforestation Initiative is our practical entry point for restoration work. It focuses on planting the right native species in the right places, with communities and landowners.
We organise planting days, source native saplings, and produce short guides that are easy to understand and easier to act on. These are designed for landowners, teachers, community workers, and anyone who wants to help forests recover.
Native woodland stores carbon, cools the land, and rebuilds habitat. The sooner degraded land is replanted, the faster forests recover and the more carbon they capture.
If you are a landowner, school, or community organisation that would like to host a planting site or join a planting day, please contact us.
