Statuten & Intern Reglement

The founding charter and governance principles of Terra Viva VZW.

Purpose

Terra Viva VZW is established to protect forests, restore degraded land, reduce carbon emissions, and raise awareness of deforestation and climate change, in Belgium and across Europe.

Non-profit status

The association pursues no profit for its members. Any surplus is used solely to advance its stated environmental purpose.

Membership

Membership is open to individuals and organisations who support the aims of the association and are admitted by the board. Members may vote in the general assembly.

Governance

The association is governed by a general assembly and a board of directors. The board manages day-to-day activities and is accountable to the members.

Transparency

Terra Viva VZW commits to transparent reporting of its activities and use of funds, in line with Belgian non-profit law.

Amendments

These statutes may be amended by the general assembly according to the procedures set out in Belgian law.
